Surprising to find this still happening in 2017! This is Chartham, near Canterbury, in Kent. The crossing keeper is kept busy with 6 trains per hour, during the day.
Doing it the old fashioned way! The signalman at East Farleigh, in Kent, pushes the crossing barriers across the road. I don`t know if this is still happening in 2014.
